Rising Kids Ministry

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

Every Sunday at The Rising, our kids ministry comes alive! We offer a full program for children from 6 weeks old through 5th grade, creating a space where they can encounter the presence of God in ways that are real, joyful, and unforgettable.
Our heart is to cultivate a safe, joy-filled, and life-giving environment where solid biblical truths are shared creatively and intentionally. We love watching kids grow in confidence, discover God’s love, and take bold steps forward in their faith journey.

Our Vision
To equip a generation of children who know Jesus deeply, walk in their God-given identity, and confidently carry His presence into their homes, schools, and communities.
We envision kids who are spiritually rooted, emotionally strong, wildly creative, and fully alive in the purpose God designed for them.
Rising Kids will be a light in this region and beyond—carriers of hope, influencers of culture, and world-changers for the Kingdom of God.

WE VALUE SAFETY!
Your children and their safety are our top priority in Rising Kids! From check-in to check-out, we provide a safe environment.

Our secure check-in system ensures that you and your child have matching ID tags. Your child will wear the name tag and you will keep the pick-up tag. After service, you will be asked to provide your pick-up tag in order to release your child.

The Rising Kids Team will proactively look for signs of sickness as Rising Kids come into the hall. We want each child to remain healthy while in our care. For this reason, we ask that your child be free of symptoms such as persistent cough, vomiting, diarrhea, green runny nose, and fever, for at least 24 hours prior to dropping off.
In the event we need to contact you during service, one of our Rising Kids Volunteer will send you a text message. For this reason, we ask that you keep your phone with you during service and provide your phone number to your child’s teacher. If you are contacted, we ask that you make your way to the Rising Kids hall and find a volunteer, who will direct you to your child’s classroom.

PARENTS

Our goal is to partner with you as a parent in the spiritual development of your child. Below you will find answers to several frequently asked questions, and you are always welcome to visit a Rising Kids service or to become a Rising Kids volunteer.

BABY DEDICATIONS

At The Rising, we want to partner with you and your family to help lead your little one in his/her walk with Christ! We invite you to dedicate your baby to the Lord at one of our baby dedication services. Baby dedication is not water baptism, but rather an ongoing commitment as a parent/guardian to train your child in the way of the Lord. We offer these celebrations quarterly. Please, see one of our Rising Kids Volunteer for more details.
